10月11日下午，哈尔科夫学院在下沙校区举行2023级新生入学仪式暨开学第一课。院长欧荣、党总支书记徐凌芸、副院长胡潭高、副书记马珺，哈尔科夫国立大学教师团队负责人基里尔、杭州师范大学哈尔科夫学院联合管委会成员薛美乐出席活动，乌方教师代表、学院各科室负责人、新生班主任、全体辅导员和173名来自9个不同省份的2023级新生参加此次活动。入学仪式由副书记马珺主持。

On the afternoon of 11th October, Kharkiv Institute of HZNU held the 2023 Freshmen Opening Ceremony and the First Lecture for Freshmen on Xiasha Campus. Ou Rong, Dean of the Institute, Xu Lingyun, Secretary of CPC Party General Branch of the Institute, Hu Tangao, Deputy Dean, and Ma Jun, Deputy Secretary, Kyrylo Voronov, Associate Professor of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and Xue Meile, member of JMC of the Institute, were present, the teaching faculty of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, office heads of the Institue, class head teachers, all student counsellors and 173 freshmen  from 9 different provinces attended the ceremony which was presided over by Ma Jun.

入学仪式暨开学第一课在庄严雄壮的国歌中拉开帷幕。仪式伊始，院长欧荣教授为全体新生讲授《开学第一课》。她首先代表学院全体教师向2023级本科新生表示诚挚祝贺和热烈欢迎。随后，欧院长通过生动案例、详实数字，以中英双语方式鼓励全体新生以“开放”Openness、“包容”Inclusivity、“求真”Truth-Seeking、“励新”Creativity为步，奋揖扬帆、敢想敢为、慎终如始、善作善成，让青春之花在之江大地、师大校园、哈尔之家绚烂绽放。

The ceremony began with the solemn China's national anthem. At the beginning of the ceremony, Professor Ou Rong, Dean of the Institute, gave the First Lecture for Freshmen. She firstly expressed her sincere congratulations and warm welcome to all students on behalf of all the faculty members of the Institute. Afterwards, through vivid cases and detailed figures, Dean Ou encouraged all freshmen to take the principles of "Openness", "Inclusivity", "Truth-Seeking" and "Creativity" as a step, to set the sail, dare to think and dare to do, to be diligent and conscientious so as to achieve abundant succes and water the flower of youth blossomed brilliantly in the future.

哈尔科夫国立大学基里尔Kyrylo副教授以亲切的“大家好”问候2023级新生，同时鼓励全体新生在大学生涯发现学习乐趣、结交新的朋友、收获美好瞬间。基里尔教授强调，当下同学们有很多改变自我人生、成为更好的自己的机会，希望全体同学保持热情、乐观的生活态度不断追逐梦想。

Associate Professor Kyrylo Voronov greeted all freshmen in chinese "Da Jia Hao(Hello, everyone)", and encouraged all students to discover the joy of learning, make new friends, and harvest beautiful moments in their university career. Professor Kyrylo emphasised that there are many opportunities for students to change their lives and become a better person, and he hoped that all students would keep their enthusiasm and optimistic attitude towards life and keep chasing their dreams.

新生班主任代表高分子（中外合作）232班胡应乾老师对全体学生就未来四年大学学习作出几点要求：一要积极运用图书馆等各类校院资源，提高专业素养；二要重视数学和英语学习，为后续学业发展奠定坚实基础；三要学会灵活运用各类学习方法，梳理各类课程的不同学习技巧的同时加强理论学习。

Mr. Hu Yingqian, the representative of head teacher of Polymer 232 class, made a few requests to all students for the next four years of university study: firstly, they should actively use all kinds of resources in the library and other resources to improve professionalism; secondly, they should pay attention to the study of maths and English, so as to lay a solid foundation for the development of subsequent studies; thirdly, they should learn to use all kinds of study methods flexibly, and strengthen the study skills of all kinds of courses while strengthening the theoretical study.

在校生代表张菘涛、梁芮歌、邱晔先后为2023级新生作“经纬Forum”第一讲。地信（中外合作）211班张菘涛就杭州亚运会开幕式演职经历鼓励新生把大学四年规划的蓝图，落实为每一天的具体行动，找到当代青年砥砺奋进的时代坐标。应化（中外合作）211班梁芮歌围绕杭州亚运会志愿者经历寄语新生把握每一个关键节点，书写属于自己的青春绚丽年华。地信（中外合作）211班邱晔结合暑期出国境交流项目经历勉励新生从名校学习氛围、个人能力提升维度积极探索国际胜任力。

Representatives of students, Zhang Songtao, Liang Ruige and Qiu Ye, delivered the first talks of "Jingwei Forum" to all freshmen. Zhang Songtao from Geochemistry Class 211 encouraged all freshmen to put the blueprint of the four-year university plan into concrete actions every day, and to find the coordinates of the times for the contemporary young people to strive for progress. Liang Ruige, chair of HZNU Student Union, from Chemistry Class 211sent wishes to the freshmen that they should grasp every key point and make their own youthful years gorgeous . Qiu Ye from Geochemistry Class 211 encouraged all freshmen to actively explore international competence from the perspective of learning atmosphere in famous universities and personal ability enhancement through the experience of summer exchange programme abroad.

随后，新生代表严浩轩、金颜喆、王乙舒分别上台作表态发言。地信（中外合作）231班严浩轩以校训“勤慎诚恕 博雅精进”为指引，号召全体同学携手共进，在这场青春的盛宴中留下最灿烂的足迹，一起奔向更加美好的明天。应化（中外合作）231班金颜喆从所学专业出发，号召全体同学要主动把握每一个机会，培养平视世界的自信与勇气去不断挑战自我，把小我融入师大的大我，祖国的大我。高分子（中外合作）232班王乙舒结合学科专业的要求，号召全体同学打起百分百的精神，用青春诠释誓言，用汗水制造辉煌，踔厉奋发，砥砺前行，乘长风破万里浪。

Afterwards, the representatives of the freshmen, Yan Haoxuan, Jin Yanzhe and Wang Yishu, made their pledge statements respectively. Yan Haoxuan from Geochemistry Class 231 started with the university motto "Diligence, Conscientiousness, Honesty and Generosity; Erudition,Elegance, Refinement and Excellence" and called on all freshmen to join hands to make progress, leave the most brilliant footprints in this youthful feast, and run towards a better tomorrow together. Jin Yanzhe from Chemistry Class 231 asked all students to take the initiative to grasp every opportunity, cultivate self-confidence and courage to challenge themselves, and integrate their small selves into the giant development of HZNU and our motherland. Wang Yishu from Polymer Class 232 combined with the requirements of subject specialisation, called on all students to put up 100% spirit, interpret the oath with youth and make brilliance with hard work.

入学仪式上，学院党总支书记徐凌芸老师为新生班主任颁发聘书，副院长胡潭高老师为新生学长代表颁发聘书，哈尔科夫国立大学老师们共同上台为新生代表佩戴校徽、赠予新生助学包，助学包里既有学习用品，还有学长们精心手写的寄语卡片，传递了学院上下对2023级同学的真挚情感。同时，哈尔科夫国立大学老师们也寄语全体新生大学生涯美好祝福。

At the ceremony, Xu Ling Yun, Secretary of CPC Party General Branch of the Institute, issued certificates of appointment for the class head teachers. Deputy Dean Hu Tangao issued certificates of appointment for the senior student representatives. The teaching faculty of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University wore the university badges and presented the souvenir packages for the freshmen representatives. The packages contain both study supplies and the seniors' carefully handwritten blessing cards All the teachers also sent good wishes to freshmen for their university life.

在新生代表主题朗诵《生在红旗下 长在春风里》后，哈尔科夫2023级新生入学仪式暨开学第一课圆满结束。祝愿所有新生以风作伴、以梦为马，在这最热烈的年华，在哈尔科夫学院积聚德、智、体、美、劳、国际胜任力，放飞青春梦想，争做有理想、敢担当、能吃苦、肯奋斗的新时代好青年！

After the representatives of the freshmen recited the theme "Born under the Red Flag, Grow up in the Spring Breeze", the ceremony was successfully concluded. The Institute wish all freshmen to take the advantage of all resources and opportunites given by the University and the Institute as well, and in their most enthusiastic years, to accumulate moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, labour and international competence at Kharkiv Institute, to strive to be a good youth of the new era who has the ideals, dares to take responsibility, able to bear hardships and is willing to struggle!
